JUDr. František Listík

About me

I have been interested in law since I was in high school. I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and completed my studies with a doctorate. I later supplemented my legal education with postgraduate studies in copyright and patent law.

It was not until the change of the political system in 1989, when I started practicing law after fulfilling the legal conditions, that I became a lawyer.

In those years of great social change, legal services were timely and needed, especially in areas relating to restitution, the establishment of companies and the transfer of property rights. My clients were therefore mainly important Czech, Slovak and foreign restitutionists in the field of real estate, restitution of means of production, agricultural and land property. For example, I have represented major foreign (German, French) and domestic clients in the hop and brewing industry and agricultural production. As well as Czech and German clients in the glass industry. My client was also Czech Television at the turn of the millennium in the heated political times.

As time went on, I came to regard the work of an advocate more and more as a mission and spiritual help to people in need. The first priority in my activity was and is to find out from the client the essential description of the facts, events and events related to the given case, his ideas and wishes and on this basis to suggest to him the possible and most feasible factual and legal solution to his problem. I apply many years of professional experience in my work. I approach each case with professional erudition and in proposing solutions I apply the perspective of life experience in addition to the applicable law, with the aim of reaching a pragmatic amicable agreement for the client, as the court route may often not be the optimal solution for the client.

Currently, I provide legal services mainly in the field of civil, family, labour and commercial law.
